A play entitled "Ooh my Back Hurts" performed by local actors is the novel way in which delegates to an office equipment exhibition in Aberdeen will be shown how to prevent back injuries and pain.
The exhibition, Office 2000, is being hosted by Turnhouse Office Equipment at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels on May 15 and 16.
And included in the programme is the humorous play, commissioned by physiotherapist Eva Leach and performed by members of the Live Wire Science Theatre.
Ms Leach, who specialises in back care and advises on ergonomic design in furniture, will be conducting seminars during the show.
Turnhouse will have a full range of ergonomic designs and innovative products in furniture and office supplies on display.
Managing director John Fraser says the play will be an integral part of the event, which is the first of its kind in the North-east.
He said, "The exhibition will look at all aspects of the modern office environment, with a wide selection of equipment and supplies on display, including computer products from Tycom Business Systems.
"There will be demonstrations from Asylum Interactive on multimedia and the Internet, from Workplace Design on workplace interiors, and Carden Project Management on non-traditional methods of procurement."
Those attending the exhibition will also have the chance to win a luxury weekend in Paris. They will automatically be entered into a draw on registering.
Anyone wishing to attend the event should contact Turnhouse on 01224 662255.
