Commissioned by Grampian Health Board, 'Uncomfortable Shoes' is a unique, curricula-linked, musical resource for 9-14 year olds that sensitively addresses important social issues, including drug and alcohol misuse, bullying, depression and young carers, with a strong emphasis on empathy. The resource has been designed to be used in the classroom, to produce a school assembly or a school show. Teachers without music or drama skills can use the resource. At its most basic level, all a teacher will need to use 'Uncomfortable Shoes' is a classroom with access to a computer and CD player with speakers. • A 'CD of Songs', including vocal tracks for rehearsals and backing tracks for the performance

No Performance Licence required!
There is no requirement for schools to purchase a licence to perform 'Uncomfortable Shoes'. Also, you may photocopy the script and the sheet music for use within your school.
