A Scottish charitable organisation promoting health improvement, citizenship and environmental issues through the medium of the performing arts.

A lung care and anti-smoking programme for 9 – 14 year olds lasting a class period.
Personified lungs, Larry and Len, explain how the lungs work with humour, audience participation, and broccoli. Larry explains how a harsh environment, industrial pollution as well as heavy smoking have damaged his lungs. He encourages his son, Len, to look after his own lungs.
This fully interactive play raises a variety of issues, including lifestyle, peer pressure and advertising as influences on lung health. The show can be adapted for all ages from 9 - 90 year olds and is suitable for schools, the workplace and community groups.
Commissioned by Grampian ASH, ‘Who Says I’m a Windbag’ has toured extensively throughout the Scottish mainland and the Outer Hebrides

What the children thought:
* I had a granny who died two years ago and she smoked a lot which gave her lung cancer and it was too late for her to stop smoking because she had already wrecked her body.
* I smoked for about 6 months and you really made me think about it and I will never touch another fag again.
* I think smoking is a disgusting habit. What would be the point of wasting money just to kill yourself?
* I used to think you would not get addicted to smoking just like that. But now that I’ve seen that I have changed my mind.
* I learned, when I am older, not to smoke, even if my friends do.
